I wasn't born yet when China Beach was on--my sister wasn't even born yet too!--but I'm watching this now and I can't stop...I'm downloading season 3 and will start the 4th right after and I just realized something--

What was Dr. Richard's full name? I checked here and it's listed as 'Dick Richard'...okay, now I know 'Dick' is the nickname for Richard and now I'm really wondering about the name.

Is it Dr. Richard Richard or was he simply named 'Dick Richard'?

Stupid question, yeah, but I can't help but be curious! What a name!
