Reagan
The American Experience episode, "Reagan, An American Crusade" , was terribly biased. I managed to watch for almost 20 minutes, but most of those 20 minutes were about the Nuclear Freeze movement.
I do not recommend this episode to anyone.
The show tends to lean toward the liberal side but I actually thought the episode managed to be fairly balanced. Maybe part of why it came across as slanted was the fact that you caught a snippet? This was a longer episode (3 hours) so the episode tended to focus on criticism for stretches and accomplishments for stretches. Ironically, I remember the section about the push for non-proliferation as being the most critical section of the documentary. Sorry to hear you did not enjoy it!
