The Mighty John Walsh

America's Most Wanted is hard to take and is not most viewer's idea of entertainment. Serial killers. Spree killers. Armed robbery murders. But it happened to John Walsh and it hit home. Most of us aren't victims and live in relative peace and quiet. America's Most Wanted was relegated to the post office lobby before John Walsh got the idea to televise. Walter Winchell on radio, Hollywood and even America's grindhouses stepped in to do their duty as good citizens but the trend ended. They tried to cancel America's most wanted during its early years but the cry went up and the network let America's most Wanted continue. Unfortunatley all this take huge sums of money and John Walsh needs to get paid. I've long ago lost interest in John Walsh and America's Most Wanted and instead watch the same 10 shows on the Military Channel. But the United States and the world need to televise the faces and the M.O. of people who commit murder and flee. What better tool than the television as the modern wanted poster? I guess there's no money in the indentification and apprehension of the various psychopaths who tread this earth.

Walsh's karma has come full circle. Did he think he actually think he could exploit and whore-out his dead son forever? This man always was, and always will be -- an opportunist. Anybody else would have made peace with their loss and moved on with their life. But not John (the whiner) Walsh. Somehow, people think this man is a hero for fostering change in the way see the world by bringing child safety advocacy and victim's rights to the forefront. Encouraging parents to be AWARE of those STRANGERS and SEX OFFENDERS. Which brings me to my point..

IT WAS NEVER PROVEN THAT ADAM WALSH WAS SEXUALLY MOLESTED IN ANY WAY, FORM OR FASHION, nor that Ottis Toole was actually the person who did it, but he needs a scapegoat, so Mr. Toole was the target, along with sex offenders. This was the fuel that ran Mr. Walsh's furnace and enabled his show to survive as long as it did. Preaching and advocating HATE, VIGILANTISM and STREET JUSTICE along with telling people with children to be helicopter parents. Stranger Danger was just a buzz-word created by him to catapult his agenda, which was, and still is, exaggerate reality and justify his existence.

Fear mongering under the guise of safety. Selling fear for profit. John Walsh has made millions off of the MURDER of his son Adam Walsh. What happened to Adam Walsh was a statistical anomaly, and doesn't warrant all the attention his parents have garnered and profited from over the years while telling people to live in fear. Adam died because REVE left him unattended in a Sears store playing Atari while she went to shop for lamps a couple aisles over. Hope she found those lamps she was looking for.

Adam Walsh died in VAIN and there's nothing that miserable old white-headed man can do about it.

You said it so much better than I could have. I'm so tired of John Walsh and his tough guy act profiteering of his son Adam's tragic death.

i can't believe what i'm actually reading, this doesn't seem like the type of person John is at all. John Walsh is a strong human being that decided to do some good with his life after his son was murdered. He decided that he would go on national tv and try to help bring serial killers, rapists, pedophiles, etc. to justice and since this show's airing, he has taken several dangerous people off the street. when this show first aired, he wasn't thinking about the money and he didn't even know if the show was going to work, but he figured he would try and see what happens and it WORKED! sure the MONEY came later, but does he deserve it???......

I THINK SO....

WHY NOT???

I mean our world is a little safer since this show's airing.....

and for all the people that posted saying that he's an opportunist, your all just little to damn IGNORANT and need to get your head out of your asses and this goes for everybody else that thinks this way too....

OPEN YOUR EYES!!!!!

Ha, ha, his show is back, not just on one network but two. Burn with your burden of butt-hurt hate for a man who's trying to make a difference. Here's an idea: Why don't you just complain some more? That'll make you feel better, for sure.

The Falcon flies

Hahaha, John Walsh brings the hate out of cons and sick freaks for shining a light on what they wanted kept in the dark. I say that's all right...you don't notice how bad a piece of crap smells until you step on it. The scent is usually honking loud and sickening, just like Walsh's detractors.
