Ninja scenes: best thing ever?

I just don't know how to start.

The "chinese" part of this movie really sucks, it's stupid in a way it's not funny, just boring. But the ninja part... Too good. Costumes, acting, dialogue, everything - it's out of this world. I've seen pretty much all the best worst films that are out there, but this ninja scenes take the cake. Period.

Personally I like ninja Mason the most. He's such a cool cat. The guy who plays him is a god, he must be. His acting and especially his facial expressions (Amazing! Incredible! I can taste the power! ect) is fantastic, I love it more then my sister. Ninja Ira is also very cool, Bobby too, to bad he dies so fast.

Overall, this movie is definitly worth buying. For the love of ninja scenes, it's worth it. They shine like a flawless diamond and they'll change your world, like they did mine. I've seen the director made many more ninja movies - I'd kill to see any other movie featuring him and his actors. I can see from the names - "Bionic Ninja", "Ninja the Magnificent Sorcerer", "Full Metal Ninja" and other - those movies must be soooooo cool...

The previews for this movie are hilarious. The announcer must repeat the title like 10 times.

ZOMBIE VS NINJA!
ZOMBIE VS NINJA, AN UNHOLY ALLIANCE!
ZOMBIE VS NINJA, DONT MISS IT!
...

(or something like that)

Gotta love the scene where some white Ninja dude (in the neon yellow and white Ninja costume) lists the names of his sworn enemies or accomplices or something - Bill, Duncan, Ethan, Ira, Ted and Jim (something like that). lol.

Ed Wood would be proud for sure.

I liked how the ninjas had headbands across their forehead with the word, in english, "NINJA"... just in case you weren't sure what they were.

Ninja Burt
Ninja Billy
Ninja Ira
Ninja Duncan

and...that their clothes made out of saran wrap and colored aluminum foil.

Instant classic.

I agree with you on the "chinese" part of the film. They try way too hard to be funny, I cringed at the horrible slapstick moments (people getting hit on the head and making ridiculous faces...etc).

However the ninja part, wow! This movie must have been spliced from an existing movie because if you watch the music video to Hexstatic's 'Ninja Tune', you'll see some of the scenes contained here but some additional scenes too! From what I've seen from the music video this film must be incredible!!! I thought I'd struck gold watching this film but then realised that some lines from the music video were missing, like "Master, there is a guy in the south village called Tony, he is a ninja"
(Ninja Mason) "What? He must be one of Gordon's diciples, he must be eliminated"
"Ringo said he would handle it for us"
(Ninja Mason) "...but he is no match for a ninja"

That film must be out there somewhere. I'm on a mission to find it!!

Elsewhere I've heard that some of the footage might come from one of these two:

Ninja Kill:
http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0199832/

Ninja Showdown:
http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0199843/

Both of which feature Ninja Master Gordon:
http://www.imdb.com/character/ch0122764/

It wouldn't surprise me if Godfrey Ho just shot a tonne of ninja footage at once and worked it into other films, or even used the same footage in a range of different films. I have a few on DVD but not only would tracking a range of them down be tricky but I'd have thought the novelty would wear very thin after the first few (it did for me).

Man, I bought this on VHS as my local rental store was about be crushed by a new Blockbuster. Must've been about 18 years ago. It cost me a quid and came with a golden 'Highly Recommended' sticker on the sleeve. By who?! I recently sold my 2000+ collection of VHS tapes but this was one of the few I kept.
