did Biao Yuen also die at the end ???

Actually it depends on which version you see. There are alternate endings that keep both Yuen Biao and Rothrock's characters alive. In the version that you're asking about, he definitely dies.

Well falling from THAT height would make the water feel like concrete. The impact would kill you for sure. At least the original ending is realistic.

Yeah I saw the death version first and it seemed more 'right' than the re-cut. Though it was sad too.
