Hard Boiled 2 done 3 years before the original? Is it the old "we need to get some of his other films and market them in an easy way... hey this one looks nice... let's call it a sequel... no one will know the difference" things?
This has film has nothing to do with Hard Boiled. I don`t think this film is as good as Hard Boiled.
Just like you said. Hard Boiled was quite a big success in Germany for a Hong Kong movie and it is one of Woos most known HK films. So they decided to name one of his older films Hard Boiled 2 so that everybody will think its a sequel and will buy it, no matter that it was done 3 years before the original and has nothing to do with it.
