Gee, suppose PETA will try to get it banned in the USA?

The opening scene shows a real chicken, actually being burned alive. Not a portrayal. You can hear him crying and you actually see the wing bones as he is burning.

It should be banned if it contains that.

Yea, censorship is a beautiful thing. Our government is allowed to directly and indirectly start wars and kill millions of people around the world, our industries are allowed to displace millions of animals to die, ruin habitats, poison oceans, etc. But if someone dares to make art of out killing one single animal, that heathen ought to be crucified! "Out of sight, out of mind" is our favorite motto, and since movies are "in our sight" they must be censored.

That was undoubtedly one of the most *beep* up things I've ever seen in my life. I'm no PETA supporter, yet I'm still absolutely disgusted. The fact that someone could do that and just film it for entertainment's sake for the whole world to see is *beep* pathetic. If Karma is real (and we're lucky), then "Souleymane's" death will be nothing less than incineration in return. *beep* that guy.

And yes, I gave this *beep* of a movie one star (even though that still seems too generous).

I didn't find anything wrong with it, It felt authentic & appropriate for the story.
