This crapfest!

Why, oh why, did they do it?

Aren't you being a little over the top? It's not a bad movie.

It was a family film to us. Nothing offensive or demonic. Just fun with Jack Nicholson, and that possessed woman lol. I'm laughing thinking about it.

I didn't think it was crap at all. Not crap enough to be considered a crapfest. If you think Eastwicks a crapfest you have a lot more crap to get through sir. Good luck to you, you're gonna need it! :)

It is an 80s comedy, and IMHO much better than today's reboots or remakes of 80s movies with over the top CGI or movies about comic book characters. Of course, not everyone might be of the same opinion. :)

Though the overall consensus on these boards appears to be positive,
with some folks simply delighted with this thing,
I'm gonna have to agree with 'crapfest'.
My least favorite Nicholson movie.

Pffft, my suspension of disbelief has higher standards than that.

Just watched this movie for the first time tonight since I'm on a George Miller kick at the moment. I wouldn't say it's a 'crapfest' but it's definitely my least favorite of Miller's output. I just didn't find the plot all that engaging as it went on, and it seemed to take a while to get where it was going. The ensemble is full of good actors, but I just couldn't really get into this one. I'd say it's average more than anything.
