Just got this on DVD at last!

Arrived today in the post and i couldn't wait and watched it immediately! I'm so happy to say this film has lost none of it's appeal. Whether I be blinded partially by nostalgia or not, I enjoyed every moment, and was almost to tears with those more sentimental moments. I'm happily surprised; so much of my childhood doesn't hold up through adult eyes, but this was something worth returning to :) My only minor qualm is the DVD transfer, which is very basic, and also the colour is a little more saturated than my old vhs copy. This is also a US import so I believe it's a totally different transfer to my original uk vhs. Whatever, it is just a small thing. I'm just so pleased to be able to watch it again after so many years! Thank you Warner Archive :)
