Man, just watched this flick for the first time last nite (VHS I got at a pawn shop for real cheap).. and, really good flick! I'd buy it on DVD, definitely!

Paramount has the rights to this one since they released it on video back in the 1980s.

Warner Bros. has been licensing out a lot of Paramount titles lately. If Paramount still retains the video rights to this, we might see a release via Warners Bros. It probably wouldn't get much fanfare though and receive a DVD-R low budget Archive release at the most.
Ideally, I would love Criterion to get a hold of this and give it all the bells and whistles.
If Paramount does still have the video rights, it might also see a release from Olive Films.

Arrow Video in the UK are releasing a special edition next year. I think their releases are region locked, unless one has a region free player.

This is the last VHS I ever bought. It broke my VCR! No kidding. I don't know if IT did, I guess... but my VCR never worked again, at all, after playing this movie.

this is one of the most realistic and scary serial killer films of all time imho. I had to go to work late one night and left a VHS copy for my girlfriend to watch (she loved spooky movies) When I got home she was visibly freaked and asked me if I liked to hunt! I told her 'No, but I did like to keep dead squirrel hearts under the floorboards connected by long strands of string' lol! Seriously, a really good film folks! Very realistic, bizarre, and disturbing film. One of the most different movies you'll ever see. Good job David Keith et al! They need to get this out on DVD!
