shareI agree it looks bad with the two folk in the bottom right corner because as a youngster in the 80s, with video rental shops emerging ... one poster you saw everywhere at the time was for this movie. So simple yet memorable and iconic, Rutger with the gun over his shoulder .... just seeing the cover of the British dvd which is almost identical to the 80s poster brings back a lot of memories. The posters for POLICE ACADEMY and ARTHUR (or perhaps ARTHUR 2?) bring back similar memories as you used to see those posters in the video shop a lot.
I think the original thread starter just meant they ruined its look, an iconic poster, by adding the villains on later....should have stuck to the simpler 80s image.
