Wall Street Prequel!

Does anybody think they should make a Wall Street Prequel with Gordon
Gekko in his early years as a stockbroker. If this happens which actor
would be best suited for the role.

Interesting idea, but I wonder if it would fly as well today, since times have changed so much.
Theo James popped into my head for the lead.

His life doesn't really become exciting until he bags the elephant.

The movie is also 30 years old. Too many remakes these days that don't hold up. New Ben-Hur movie for example.

@Leapchild The OP was talking about a prequel about Gordon Gekko's early years, not Bud Fox's.

Charlie Sheen said he wrote a "Backstory" Prequel. see video at 1:09 -

"I'd written a backstory when we did the first one but I never thought to write a future story a couple decades later."
