This movie is f'ing brilliant...

Why all the hate? DePalma has, once again, painstakingly crafted another gem in his illustrious directorial career. Say what you will about the man, but he is no cookie-cutter director! I love this movie!! Kevin Costner is perfectly cast as the stiff lead. *NEWS FLASH*... his character is STIFF as a board! And I don't mean in the wife-pleasing way.

It is good.

The music, the cast of bit players all suck at acting.
An over rated movie that was a blockbuster maybe because of the hope of another movie like DePalma's SCARFACE.
THE COTTON CLUB, ONCE UPON IN AMERICA were better gangster movies from the 80s'.
