Song: Tough Guys Don't Dance

Back in around 1987/88, I heard a song with the lyrics "Tough Guys Don't Dance".

I'm guessing it was tied into the movie somehow, but it doesn't seem to be on the Soundtrack Listing on IMDB.

It was folky/rocky.

I've been looking for it for years without success.

It's not the Marty Ross country song of the same name (as good that it is). The song I'm looking for had a harder edge. It *might* be a cover of Marty Ross's song though, with a "harder" production.

Anyone got any clue what it might be!?

Whatever it was, it's not a song on any soundtrack release for the film nor was it in the film. You could try searching ASCAP or BMI's sites and then maybe iTunes for a sample clip. Hope that helps (but I suppose it really doesn't).
