I have never seen The Time Guardian, I have heard so much about it. The original version of the screenplay sounded truly original and intresting. Poor Brian Hannant! The story he had envisioned got changed and trashed and turned into a rip-off of The Terminator. If The Time Guardian got rebooted, out of respect to Brian Hannant, instead of doing the film all over again. I would go back to Hannant's original screenplay and story, before it was compramised, which only 1 robot was used and have Hannant's original vision realized. I think Keira Knightley would make the perfect Petra (Carrie Fisher).

You would give Keira Knightly only about 2 minutes of screen time as Petra? Shame.

Now who would be good in Nikki Coghill's place?
She is as cute and appealing as Heather Locklear was in her best years, (but with a nicely athletic body), and I'm having trouble coming up with another... maybe Dina Meyer (Starship Troopers, and Dragonheart (betcha didn't know that!)).

and the "one robot" sounds even more like the Terminator... The TIME GUARDIANS army looked more like Robocop Borgs... (not great).
