This and The Big Lebowski

I watched this last night for the first time in about 20 years, and I enjoyed it every bit as much as I did back then. But one thing struck me is the references apparently made to this film the later film The Big Lebowski. Two in particuar: the bowling scenes, and Larry lying on the oriental rug. Jumped right out at me.
