Buddy Revell vs. Buddy Repperton

Two of the great screen bullies of the 80's. Who would win?

I'll fix you!! You'll wish you never been *beep* born!

You made me mad Jerry, now I'm gonna have to do something to work it off!

I don't know, both classic. Its a push.

reply

I'd say Repperton. Revell was a loner, while Repperton had a his own gang. Revell fought with brass knuckles, but Repperton had a switchblade. But if it came down to a bare knuckle punchfest, I'd put my money on Revell.

reply

Buddy would fight a school's three baddest dudes on his first day there. He can take Repperton and his gang all by himself...

Bare fisted? Definitely Revell would win. Repperton was all talk. Went down easily with one punch from Dennis. Revell's tougher and smarter.

And if you go by the novel "Christine", Arnie almost beat Repperton up without any help! The fight was broken up before it ended, however.

reply

Buddy Repperton simply rules! The only one that can take him on is Philo Bedoe.

reply

Revell, he seemed more threatening and everyone saw how he laid that massive lineman guy in the library. Most bullies I doubt could do that. .

reply

Buddy Repperton was a 70's bully not an 80's bully like Revell. Repperton was a bigger bully! I think he would have kicked Revell's ass. Repperton was way more hardcore!

I would like to see Buddy Revell Vs Minnie Ripperton. She could sing him to death with the song, "Loving You. LA-LA-LA-LA,LA, LA-LA-LA-LA,LA...LA-LA-LA-LA-LA-LA-LA-LA,LA... DOON-DOO-DOO-OOOH, AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA-AAAAAHHH! <Buddy Revell's head explodes>

reply

Dude I was gonna start this thread then I saw yours! "I'll fix you! You gonna wish you were never f-in born!" Ha! Revell V Repperton? I'll take Revell. Sorry Buddy, but you got mowed down by a Plymouth. Then again Revell got beat up by a 125 pound wimp. How about Arnie Cunningham V Jerry Mitchell?

reply

Repperton didn't strike me as a "tough guy". He seemed to be just a coward that would always hide behind his gang and switchblade.

Kinda like David Bender from the Breakfast Club. I'm sure Repperton would try to stab Revell, as it would probably be his best/only way of winning the fight.

reply

hah i just watched this movie and i was reminded of Buddy Repperton while watching it and now i see a Buddy Vs Buddy thread haha

I would put my money on Revell, Repperton was more talk and needed a gang on his side, Revell would lay him out for sure

"Keep away. The sow is mine"

reply

I'd go with Revell by a landslide. Repperton was all talk and bravado, Revell backed it up. Although, Repperton really gave it to Arnie's yogurt!

reply

I have to give this easily to Revell.

Repperton was a punk who seemed to like preying on only the weak, Revell strikes me as being an equal opportunity intimidator who fears nothing.

He took down Craig in the library without a moments hesitation and all it would take is for Repperton to lay a hand on him for Revell to take him out just as fast.
