I like how they used the word "IT" when reffering to the baby (SARCASM)


Does it bother anyone that when they talk about picking up the baby, feeding the baby, entertaining the baby they will say "pick it up" "no you're picking it up". "What the hell am I suppose to do? entertain it"...etc

It's not an *it* it's a *she* and she is a baby and a baby is a human being, not an object

The whole point is, they're supposed to be unaccustomed to handling babies.

It's supposed to be funny, and it is. The joke of calling a baby "it" probably originated in "Christmas in Connecticut", starring Barbara Stanwyck, over forty years earlier.
