Tom Selleck is such a hunk in this movie

:D he's so adorable with the baby.

Oh, Adrian. Adrian always tells the truth.

That's the thing about Tom, his characters are not just guys, they're MEN. You know, REAL MEN. Responsible, strong, confident, charming to the ladies, he respects them. All the traits a real man should have.

well said Explorer.Tom Selleck has a unique masculine presence on screen. Quite rare in that it is very masculine, without any masculine egocentricity on show. I loved his character in 3 Men and a Baby for that reason. I'm watching it right now, and he's a gorgeous looking man, yes.

strength comes from an indomitable will..

reply

I agree. If I were a woman or gay, I'd want a man like him.

Well, more and more boys are being raised by single moms. Tom Selleck was raised by his mom and dad. He was raised to know his own strength and be responsible with the people around him. That's what it takes to be a man. But, that means parents have to teach their boys to have pride in themselves as men... the aggressor, the hero, the vigilant, the dominant. BUT, feminism tells everyone that masculinity is wrong and evil. So, feminism has made men throw away their masculinity while forcing women to give up their femininity. Instead of encouraging men to be awesome like Tom Selleck, feminism wants men to be free to be whatever they want. So, men end up becoming lazy, selfish, irresponsible couch potatoes, forcing women to become the breadwinners, making the majority of them feel more and more strung out. Feminists don't realize that men are physically much more capable of being the sole breadwinner.

So, blame feminism if you don't like the way men are today.

It's kind of strange. I heard people describe the great Clark Gable the exact same way. He was a real man. And ladies in that time were in love with him. But, unfortunately, Selleck hasn't had the same kind of luck in his career as Clark Gable. It does suck too, because I would rather have a bunch of Tom Sellecks / real men than one Robert Pattinson.

reply

You get it.

I try to make people today understand that. There is a big difference between a man and someone who just turned 18.

It's about how you carry yourself and how you treat other.

I don't let anyone hot-comb out my HAIRitage!

Mmmmmmm I just rewatched the season 2 friends episodes where he portrays Richard Burke. I'm really going to have to revisit "3 Men and a Baby" as well :)

He was adorable. He cracks me up too! I loved when he was getting the detective's glass of water & he goes back to the sink 'oh,yes his water. Don't want him thirsty when he is reading me my rights' hahaha..cracks me up

daveramsey.com "Best thing to ever happen to us" Are you weird too?

reply

Agreed. I think he looks even better in the sequel. He lost the 80s haircut and it makes him look even more attractive.

reply

Too bad he can't act worth a damn, I leave the good acting to Captain Jim Brass in this movie.
