in the credits of this movie (i think, not 100% sure) it said that the song was called Alcoholic's Anthem by the Tazers. i tried looking up their stuff but couldn't find it. your best bet is to buy/rent the dvd or vhs hook up the A/V jacks to your stereo and record it on to tape. thats what i did. i rock that song when i go skate!

After an extensive internet search I have found some more info on the great track used as the theme for this movie, it is indeed called 'Alcholic's Anthem' and is by the 1st gen US punk/hardcore band Tazers, it features on their album "Don't Classify Me" and was released on Rave Up Records (RUR 09). As far as I can make out the album may not currently in print but copies do turn up on e-bay (They make top dollar!), and some online Hardcore specialist seem to stock a repress, if you can find the repress it's available at a regular new lp price.

I love this film and the music, I must have rented it a hundred times when I was a kid and in fact own the original coy I used to rent after i bought it when the video shop closed down. Sure it's a trash film, the plot is full of holes and the whole premis of the film is pretty ridiculous, but its a classic of its time for me evokes an era of my life when the world seemed a little bit more innocent and even the trashiest of films (Including the real 'nasties') could easily just be taken with a pinch of salt and enjoyed for what they were, (So long as you had the brains to not take them seriously!).

And yes blmanning, this music is wicked to skate to!

Happy hunting!

You know the music that plays right after mama says "Keep talkin' white trash!" - does anyone know what that is - just part of the original soundtrack? That song is mindblowingly good.

It's right after the part where mama pushes Smeg against the wall when he's talking to those 2 chicks.

It sounded like a total rip-off of the Scarface theme.

the director of this movie had to be on every drug known to man. Even the cast and crew had to be on crack speed and meth everyday to even make this silly movie.

Man, I hate to say this, but I can never pinpoint when that song, Alcoholic's Anthem plays. It's got to be very obscure or low or something. But anyway, this band, The Tazers aren't all that great. In fact, if not for their association with this film, I wouldn't even have bothered with them, and I like a lot of those Rave Up records! But "Don't Classify Me" is mediocre... not worth the high cost. Spindler's track RIPS though and I wanna hear more from him. But can never find jack.

I think the actual film score by McCallum rules, even if it totally rips off Scarface's score. Whoever made that call is dead on by the way.
