Just because it's A Cult movie it appears peer pressure indicates people should rave about it.Sorry but I felt like I wasted 43 min of my time. There was nothing controversial in it and you couldn't read the the black text on black backgrounds.It seemed like a self indulgent final year high school project.
shareWell the director actually was a student when he made it... I mean he was in graduate school but I don't know what high school you went to that had a film program that required a final project...
Anyway, I don't think anyone praises it as being some technically immaculate piece of work. I personally liked it because it told a really disturbing story and the use of dolls and the voiceover really added to how creepy it was.
The film is a subversive masterpiece.
shareA 100% accurate description of the movie. Not only was it touching, well acted (those dolls emoted better than many actors), funny, realistic, amazing, and heart felt, it was an accurate portrayal of the life of Karen and many victims of her disorder. As camp as the film can be at time, it is just as serious and filled with information. One of my favorite all time films, no joke.
