What's the name of the song playing while they write the exam? The lyrics in the chorus are "they're doing what can't be done" and i can't find it... anyone?

E.G. Daily also performs a couple of songs on the Better Off Dead soundtrack (she is the singer of the band at the school dance), appears in the 1983 classic Valley Girl, and plays Dottie in Pee Wee's Big Adventure.

What's crazier is I still have the soundtracks to Summer School and Better Off Dead on cassette! I sure do miss the '80s...

I didn't even know Danny Elfman had a album for Summer School. I can't find it anywhere. Only the movie on DVD. I even went to amazon.com and nothing. How and when did you get the soundtrack to Summer school.

I got my copy of the soundtrack on cassette in 1988 or so. I'm pretty sure it was still available a couple of years ago, but I'm not sure if it was ever released on CD. I have a feeling that it was, though.

The best song on the entire record is Danny Elfman's song "Happy". Once of my favorite non-Boingo songs that he's ever done. The rest of the soundtrack is passable, although the EG Daily song is really good as is the Fabulous Thunderbirds track.

Thanks to all the advice in here on how to get this song. I finally got it last night on Limewire, there were a few of them on there actually. I am so excited, I have searching high and low for this song for the last 10 years or so, I've almost already worn it out!! Now I gotta try and locate Happy which I did not see on there.
