The blu ray is AWESOME!!!!

Have had this on VHS in the late '80s. Never had it on DVD, and this blu ray
looks amazing for an '80s film. The colors really shine! Awesome special features (carried over from the DVD). Synapse has been doing a great job on their blu ray releases. This is the longer 102 minute version.

I think it helps that it was shot on 35mm, instead of the 16mm that mostlow budget features were shot on. The budget is not listed on imdb, does anyone know what it was?

Shooting budget was $500,000. It went a little over. Post and marketing was about $600,000, so it cost about $1.2M to get it into theaters. At dailies screenings we would joke that it looked like at least a $3M picture!

Agreed, Monty. The cinematography is actually stellar!
