'You Owe Me One'?: Chris Reeve To Hooker

Towards the end of the film, Jonathan asks the hooker Darlene to take $200 over to Reggie in order to get footage of Reggie going into business for himself without passing on the money to Fast Black. When Darlene says no at first, Jonathan says "You owe me one" and then she agrees to take the money over to Reggie. What did Darlene owe Jonathan? The only other scene she's in is the one where Fast holds the broken bottle to her throat in the front seat of the car with Jonathan and Reggie.

I think it was because he told fast black to take it easy on her when fast black put the bottle to her face.

Hi Ajax12 and ManBehindTheMask63,

Yes it is like ManBehindTheMask63 said but I thought it was a bit easy from him to tell her that. He didn't really help the hooker back in the car. But he just asked her to give Reggie some money, nothing amazing so it works afterall ^^

A really cool movie.

Have a nice day.

His presence did, in that early stage of their relationship Smalls was still trying to put up a front. He would often fly into a rage, but stop himself just prior to an act of heinous violence because he was conscious of being watched by the reporter. It's why he stopped attacking the basketball player and it's why he stopped short of cutting on Darlene in the car.
