* Spoilers below *

Just finished watching it now. There's a handful of very short scenes, most of which detract from the original film and are just shoehorned in.

One is the weiner kid being shoved in a well after singing his song, another was Elvis Costello being interogated by the women in the village. The weiner kid taking extra beatings seems to be about three of the additional scenes. When Courtney Love goes over the cliff in the car at the end, they've animated her body moving around in the flames, to go with the screaming. Aside from that, there's a sequence just before the credits where Miguel Sandoval's animated skeleton climbs out of the wreckage of his store brandishing a knife.

The best bit is the digital blood that's been added into the gunfights. This works pretty well and certainly makes it a gorier film.

I must have seen this film twenty times since it came out but hadn't seen it for a long time before this. The redux didn't really improve the film but it was interesting if your familiar with the original.

Plus there's the animated skeletal coyote howling in the middle of the night of day 2 or 3.

Polus, I've just gotten myself some marvelous tyrannical power!
