first topic for conversation (and movie review)

I used to have this movie on tape. I really liked it a lot. Later I realized how silly it was that this mutt or whatever kind of dog pulled the boy must have had a hard time. i bet the kid weighed 90 pounds or more. I wouldwatch it again if I had the chance. Now that I am older I remember all these flaws but yet it was still good and at the time the fact that it had Joey Cramer in it. I liked him from Flight of the Navigator.

At the end the dog collapses and dies after pulling the kid(JC) near the finish line. I cannot even remember if he actually won the race. Bad memory...

Anyway Buddy Ebsen, the grampa suddenly recovers from some kind of stroke. Just kinda sad they had to kill off the dog. If you like family movies then you might like this. Minus the flaws, lol its an okay movie.
