shareI wonder if the studios and the MPAA have the faintest clue that this - NOT releasing movies that people would gladly buy - is one of the major factors encouraging piracy and file-sharing? They ought to amend the copyright law, anything that remains "out of print" for a significant time (maybe 5 years? maybe 10?) should automatically be placed into the Public Domain.
shareIt's possible that not enough people are willing to buy this one. I would want to rent it to see it again but not buy it.

The problem with PD is that no-one will ever bother to remaster or restore them because it's not worth the effort when anyone can release them.
I just think the companies should turn a blind eye unless they decide to release stuff.
