Loved The Stepford Children!

I loved this TV movie! Okay, it was soooo bad but I still loved it. I had taped it off of TV years ago and let a friend borrow the tape and, of course, never got the tape back from her. Grrrrr. Am I one of only 39 people in the world to have seen this (according to user votes here)? Wish I could find a copy of it somewhere. I'm always searching. Big thumbs up from me. :o) I also really liked the actress in it (Tammy Lauren). Wish she would have been in more. The only other things I really saw her in were Wishmaster which sucked and another great TV movie called I Saw What You Did. Anyone else like The Stepford Children?

Finally got this movie on Ebay. I'm happy now. :o) God, it really sucks. But I don't care- I still like it 17 years later!

I liked this a lot also! I saw it on Lifetime when I was in fourth grade, which was around 1992. I thought it was creepy, but at the same time I thought it was cool. It's strange how I only saw this movie once (and over a decade ago), and most of it is still fresh in my mind. It seems to be hard to find, as I've never seen it in a video store.

I was hoping the remake last year would spur some company (Anchor Bay?) to do a double-sided DVD release of "Revenge of the Stepford Wives" and "The Stepford Children". Talk about a camp-fest! But since the remake tanked I guess that won't be happening anytime soon. I know "Revenge..." was available on VHS for a time and that "...Children" was supposed to be on tape in the UK. Maybe someone will transfer their copies to DVD-R and sell them on ebay.
