Poor Stephen Shellen

The guy only has two memorable roles to his credit and he gets either killed or worse in both. I'll never forget his turn with Brad Pitt in A River Runs Through It. One wicked hangover and a nasty sunburn.

More like poor us. He is really good in this. I am sure he would have done well in more feature films. Not that his career was non-existent, but he should have gotten a lot more work IMO.

If you love Cheezits and are 100% proud of it copy this and make it your signature.

reply

Poor guy indeed. I don't remember seeing him in any more films that I know of.

reply

I think I saw him uncredited in the first Back to the Future movie. He's in Biff's car when the manure gets dumped. Seems the guy just can't win.

reply

Nope. The people in the car, other than Biff, are Billy Zane, Casey Siemaszko and J.J Cohen.

reply

Dang it!

reply

He was in several Canadian movies in the 80's. I watched him filming a scene in my hometown once. He was also in an episode of Tales From The Crypt.

reply

If he had called before dropping by, maybe he wouldn't have been killed.

And then the guy has more scenes in the film that were cut from the final release, only to wind up in the 'TV Version' that no one can locate.

(sigh)

Wait a minute... who am I here?

reply

He actually has had to deal with rumors of being blacklisted for "asking too many questions" in Hollywood. Also some drinking binges after making enough money for a couple of years w/o needing to work. But most of the people that truly know him say he's a great guy, wasted talent, and tend to be supportive.
