OTHER CLASSES
So the movie tells us that the students spent all their time in math class. But didn't they also have to go to English, history and science class, etc.? And what good would excellent math scores be if the students's verbal scores were low? I think this movie would have been better if Mr. Escalante had motiviated his students to do well in all their classes, and Mr. Escalante should have collaborated with teachers in all subjects to put together a rigorous academic plan that included all subjects, not just math.
