Career best performances?

RICHARD DREYFUSS-Even though he was superb in this and carried this film, we're talking a man that has a Best Actor Oscar and also starred in Jaws, as well as being Oscar-nominated for Mr. Holland's Opus. So I don't think I could say Stakeout is a career best, although this is probably my favorite performance of his.

EMILIO ESTEVEZ-Very funny and engaging, but I'd probably say The Breakfast Club is his best performance. I also think he gave the best performance in that movie.

MADELEINE STOWE-Definitely! I know she went on to be in a few other good movies, like Last of the Mohicans and 12 Monkeys, but this is her best film performance IMHO.

AIDEN QUINN-I don't think it's even close. This is easily for me Quinn's best film performance! So convincing and scary as a criminal.

I've never liked Dreyfuss in anything, so I was really surprised how fun and lively he was here

My favorite RD movie is 'The Big Fix', but this one is 2nd. He's really, really funny in this, and the interplay between the 2 leads is hilarious.

Gotta go with 'Repo Man' for favorite EE movie...not b/c of EE, but 'Repo Man' is just so bent and weird, and the humor is, at times sublime, and other times, it's scathing. Great characters, esp Harry Dean Stanton as EE's partner.

Man, Repo Man is one of my favourites, it made me appreciate B-movies.

Dreyfuss' best performance is in The Apprenticeship of Duddy Kravitz.

Quinn wasn't scary at all imo. He's too skinny and too short to be intimidating.

When he tries to threaten RD and ends the threat with ",sucker!", I lmao. Sucker?? Really??? Ooooooo, I'm shivering....
