Was Barf an alien or was he the offspring of a human\dog relationship? He stated "Im a Mog, I'm my own best friend". I'm assuming the name "Mog" is a blend of the name "man" and the name "dog", which suggests he was a hybrid of the two species. Was this quote intended to be a pun? Was he suggesting that one of his parents may have been "friends" with a dog? I don't remember if it was clarified whether he was from another planet or from Earth.
