'i am speaking from the cheap seats and not Mt. Sinai'

i am watching Someone to Love now which i recorded from a TMC showing. i am not quite sure what to make of this film as it is hard to distinguish when the actors are acting or being truthful about their feelings. Sally Kellerman's role especially.

then there is the 'conversation' between Welles and Jaglom at the end. Welles states "i am speaking from the cheap seats and not Mt. Sinai" which Welles completely does not believe.

i now think the pretentious aspect of the acting undermines project in general making the concept a failure in one sense but now we have 'reality' entertainment everywhere we look.

so i ask you... was this film ahead of its time?

"We deal in lead, friend."
