Anyone else see 'The Brother's Grimm'? Can we say "rip off"

I love this story line! It's so beautifully done here, and sadly, in a lot of Snow White movies they don't follow this one although they should!

However the idea of the mirror and the queen being one is rare and so seeing it reused in Brothers, while totally awesome, was so much better in this movie.

However I also love the idea of the iron slippers placed on her feet at the end, I don't know if there are any Snow White's out there that do that, anyone know of one?

actually if you read the story from the brothers grimm there is no connection between the wicked queen and the mirror- in the end she is put in a pair of hot iron shoes and made to dance.

but in the brothers grimm movie they ripped off the idea from this one of the two being connected. I think it done much better in this one though.

The queen and mirror being connected was also in ''Snow White: a tale of terror''.
Well, kind of.
When the mirror shattered, she died an horrible death, really horrible......

Seriously, one of the best Snow White movies.

To answer your post Pinkweeds, the iron slippers in the end is in the original Grimm story of Snow White. The Queen is forced to dance at Snow's Wedding in hot iron slippers. It's pretty nasty, not many versions at all include that due to the graphic nature of the act.

I don't even see how that would be physically possible. You'd think one would fall down flat and be screaming in pain and torment from that.
