Anyone know of a tv special called Rescue of the Emerald Princess?

This is the storyline of what i remember and it aired in the late 80s early 90s

-a aunt and uncle from eastern europe or russia visiting their neice and newphew and tell them of this bed time story
-all adults go out for the evening, and the brother and sister follow a light into the woods behind their home
-they end up in this fairy tale where a evil witch who has a dragon for a son has kidnapped the emerald princess
-the bro and sis make it to the castle where everyone is under a spell asleep
-they manage to get the king and queen awake, and the king goes to rescue the princess and he gets some help from the kids who hide in the bacjground
-he has a magical silver cape that helps to protect him from monsters that try to stop him on his journey
-the princess is rescued adn they return to the castle, where the dragon has followed them to kidnap the princess again
-the king says only those not under the original spell can stop the dragon, and the brother uses his sling-shot to knock out the dragon who then declares allegence to the king
-all is well, the two kids head back through the forest as the adults have returned home and the brother asks his aunt and uncle whatever happened to the young man who helped save the emerald princess and they tell him he grew up and married her
-he then goes to his bedroom window and looks out and sees the emerald princess kissing an older version of himself

I can't tell if its a Russian fairy tale, but any info on this show would be appreciated! THANK YOU!
