Texas Chainsaw Massacre: The Beginning Ripped Off Slaughterhouse

Did anyone else notice that the ending of TCM: The Beginning is a hell of a lot like the ending of Slaughterhouse? Leatherface attacked the girl from the backseat to end it, just like Buddy did to the girl on Slaughterhouse.

Considering how bad this film is, I find it hard to believe the creators of Texas Chainsaw Massacre even bothered to watch it all, let along rip it off.

I don't know about that, because alot of people enjoy cheesey horror flicks like this. It's really not a bad movie at all, in many ways it is pure comic gold.

yep.. just like kevin williamson ripped off THERE'S NOTHING OUT THERE for SCREAM.. there are too many similarities in those 2 movies.. but one just didn't have the wes craven name and hollywood budget...

Oh, come on. How many films and TV shows have had the bad guy hiding in the back seat?

You'd need a calculator to count them all.

Besides, even if it were, what else could you say about a film that itself is a rip-off of the original TCM, as is this one?

I also noticed simlarities between the selling of the slaughterhouses in both films to rich businessmen who wanted to modernize them, stealing the sheriff's car/uniform, social commentaries about old fashioned values and the resistance of them being replaced with modern ones, the ending. I guess I wasn't the only one. :D

Even your emotions had an echo in so much space
