This is an awesome movie

I love this movie, I saw it when I was 8 on the old VHS. I have the DVD now, and it's great, there's alot of extras. I also have the poster now. This is one of my favorite slashers, and it scared me when I saw it.

I also have the DVD...all the extras were definitely a nice surprise, my only complaint is during the audio commentary it's hard to hear what they're saying....I have the cardboard cutout(or whatever it's called)that Rick Roessler holds up during his interview, Buddy's arm holding the cleaver moves...way way back in the late 80's a friend of mine worked next door to a video store and they gave him a whole bunch of posters, etc... and he gave me all the horror related stuff.
Slaughterhouse has always been a favorite 80's slasher of mine, slasher films around this time 85-90(something) were usually hit or miss, but this one worked...never did see Slaughterhouse 2, though from what I've read it has absolutely nothing to do with this one....

I think this movie is legit as both horror and comedy while not taking itself seriously. I respect it.

Buddy is better than 90% of horror movie killers with his memorable signature weapon, his fat strength, his retarded uninhibited zeal for killing, his professional skill at good clean cuts, and his ability to speak swine language fluently after being educated by the hogs for years.

This movie also has one of the best end credits sequences ever.
