Better than One Nite Only?

I have concert that prince did in Las Vegas in 2003 on DVD. Im planning to buy I'm just wondering how it compares to the Sign o the Times concert because I'm planning on buying it.

I have both SOTT & Live at the Aladdin in Las Vegas on DVD. SOTT is WAY more exciting. ONA was pretty good, but SOTT had more happenin' stuff in there..plus it was the late 80s!!!

SOTT is a required addition--IMO. Pick it up when u can.

Thanks lstruck. My wife was kinda bored of One Nite Only. Im sure SOTT will convince her that Prince is better than MJ.

No prob

If SOTT can't do it, than u know there's MANY eras u can choose from 2 show her Prince is (also IMO) better than MJ.

Musically, I think One Night Only is a better concert. The band he had in 2003 was so very good. Sign of the Times is more exciting and more rocking, whereas One Night Only is very jazzy.

One Nite Only was good, but I have to say that Sign 'O' the Times kicked major ass! ...In other words, Sign 'O' the Times was better. Very exciting.

Just to clarify, Prince didn't lip sync anything. The SOTT video was filmed at a show in Europe, and to greater extent at Paisley Park studios, and the two were spliced together to make it look like one show. Plus there were overdubs though to what extent is unknown.

Nope, and joshpresley is right. Although apparently bits of 'Beautiful night' were overdubbed, aside from that no lip-sync.

Forgotten the magazine, well respected one who said 'makes Michael Jackson look nailed to the floor'. I concur, get it!

One thing everyone forgets to mention is the quality of the vegas dvd is hardly dvd quality. It's complete *beep* actually. The video is so god damn bad on it I've watched that joke of a dvd once. And then there's the audio, total joke as well both of epic proportions. It shouldn't even have been released on dvd if that's the best they could do. That dvd makes me sick.
