Why was he credited as Leaf Phoenix and not Joaquin Phoenix?

So, anybody knows why? Because Leaf sounds like a completely different name to me than Joaquin.

Long story short, he has siblings named Rain, River, Summer, and Liberty. He started calling himself Leaf to have a nature-related name like his siblings.
