What I found freaky in that interview is Arnold said there would be no collapse in 2013 when there really is going to be one soon. Amazing how the freaking liar could get the year right when he was trying to deny if there was going to be a collapse. That guy is good like pretending he was ever anything remotely close to a republican.

I am not sure if he is *beep* or not when he says he likes to only do action films and not any other kind of films. I am sure the real reason is because he know he does not have the acting chops for doing anything else other than the action films he likes doing so much. He never shows much emotion in his films anyways. Hell, even when he was talking in the interview it was in a near-monotone.

On a side note: whoever the interviewer was really has a nice-sounding voice.

Same interviewer, same year, interviewing Arnold for Predator:

Arnold really gave some interesting info in that interview for "Predator." I didn't know he was dehydrated and had to be in bed for four days. And I thought Kevin Peter Hall (the alien) had it the worst being in the suit.

As much as I like the interviewer's voice, she really does come off sounding like a prude. She bitches about it being too bloody. Well, "Predator" is pretty tame compared to films like the "Saw" and "Hostel" series. Thank goodness she was never my mom.

I like how Arnie answered her question whether kids should see the film or not. He said it should be the parent's choice, the way it should always be. I may not like Arnold much these days but I liked him in that part of the interview.
Seeing "Predator" in the theater with my brothers when I was ten years old was a good experience.

Arnie, you let me down as governor and living up to what a real Republican should be. To make it up, you owe us the fans to be in "True Lies 2." After all the prior one was your last good film.

The interviewer's name is Bobbie Wygant; she's apparently done a ton of showbiz interviews over the years.

Awesome interview and Arnold seems very intelligent in it. Very cool to know he talked to Stephen King. Thanks for sharing!

It looks like he was in the midst of filming Red Heat when he did the September '87 interview

yep i was thinking the same thing, its the "red heat" look for sure in the september video. i like these old interviews from the 80's, were down to earth and relaxed. not exactly what you get now.
