Arnold's version of the character wouldn't kill himself trying to take out Killian. He wants to confront Killian face to face, not to mention live. To have him suddenly suicide crash himself into the network building would be ballsy, but out of character and completely unnecessary.

No.

If they changed it to Ben somehow managing to jump out of the helicopter at the last second and survive... then maybe.

Hey there, Johnny Boy, I hope you fry!

reply

No, because in the book, Ben is just basically a regular guy with a family. When he finds out that they had killed his family, he has nothing left to survive for so he decides to kill himself but to take out his family's killers at the same time; thus, leading him to destroy the network via suicide helicopter. The Ben from the movie has no reason to kill himself. Having him commit suicide would make no sense.

It's not a helicopter, it's a plane.

It would be a cold day in hell before big Arnie would become a kamikaze pilot.🐭
