I loved this movie, but did anyone else notice this? Every time we saw the back of Daryl Hannah's head, she had in a duckbill clip! Did people used to wear those in public in the 80's, because to me that's just strange.

I think they were really in style back then. I have curly/wavy hair like Daryl did in this movie, and when I put my hair up, I use lots of little clips. It's the only way my hair looks good while staying up.
Now, if she was wearing a scrunchie in her hair, I'd think that was strange!
I grew up with 2 sisters and our house was littered with them. Yes, they were everywhere in the 80's.
