Music Dubbing

I have very fond memories of this movie. when I was in highschool, I used to dub some of my favorite songs to the pieces that didn't contain dialouge. Because I didn't have a good knowledge of edititing and such, I just relied on the "feel" of a song more than the actual rhythm. Alot of times though, it seemed to work out via Dark side of the moon and the Wizard of oz.

Some of the pairings I remember are:

The intro/title short: Oveture from Tommy and Innuendo by Queen
Frankenstein: "Machiens" from Georgio Moeredor's Metropolis soundtrack
Starlight Angel (this was my favorite): "It's A kind of Magic" by Queen
"More than A feeling" Boston
"Last Horizon" Brian May
"Back to the Future Theme"
"Theme from E.T." John Williams
"Made In Heaven" Queen
"Brighton Rock" Queen
"She Makes Me" Queen

Deprived: "Hammer to Fall" by Queen
"Hero" By Queen

As you can tell, I was a HUGE Queen fan back then.
