Nice, I'm always down for more RoboCop. I wonder if this will be the "Corporate Wars" pitch used for RoboCop The Series back in 1994.
shareBlomkamp stated that it will be rated R.Hopefully it will go back to the dark,gritty and violent tone that made the original a classic.As opposed to the tame kid friendly sequels and remake.
shareIf someone knows how to make a Robocop movie with the same tone as the original it's Blomkamp. Lets just hope that he get's to do what he wants without too much studio interference. That's partly why the remake was a failure, Jose Padilha had a much more darker and violent movie in mind.
shareIt seems this is the way to go. They're doing it for Halloween, for Terminator, and now Robocop. He is a Cyborg. What if after the original robocop, he was put away in statis and is brought back in 2019 or 2020. I think it'd make a great film~
