ED 209

In Robocop 2, they show him malfunctioning while on patrol at the very beginning shooting a media break.

He's also guarding the police armory in Robocop 3 at the beginning.

As a post already stated, in RoboCop 2 you see the news reporting about an ED-209 malfunctioning on the streets of Detroit. That means that the unit was already being deployed for urban pacification. I think the unit was patrolling the streets of Detroit in the short lived 80's cartoon show.

As for video games, the ED-209 units were seen roaming Detroit and fighting against RoboCop as video game bosses in the arcade game from Data East. Even in RoboCop vs. Terminator too.
