RoboCop Feels Pain???

Despite having watched this movie over 100 times, I just realized that RoboCop inexplicably screams in pain at the end when Clarence stabs him in the chest with the metal spike... why would RoboCop feel pain? He's a cyborg. He doesn't scream in pain during any other part of the movie when he's injured.

reply

Because Robocop still has organic torso parts left in him from Murphy which are sustained by the baby food paste and protected by the heavy armor. When Clarence spiked him it pierced some of those organic parts and hurt but didn't kill him.

reply

Pain comes from sensory nerves... so he can't feel "pain" anymore.

reply

Well, obviously he still has some sensory nerves left in his organic parts so he can feel pain as shown in the film, he's not all machine, he's a cyborg.

Like the theatrical poster states: Part Man, Part Machine, All Cop.

reply

Obviously he can stooge.
