Steve and Jaime got back together again but no kiss?

There's that sweet little scene in the motel. Steve and Jaime got so few sweet little scenes - why did they get cheated out of half of those moments in editing?

At the end, she was telling him that awfully he didn't give up on her, he smiled and she asked him if where they went and he said he knew where the small restaurant. They sort of walked off into the sunset together. But there was no kiss between them? A big disappointment. Romance did seem to take a backseat to pretty much everything else in the second movie.

I know I was very disappointed with the first two reunion movies because there was no romance between Ausommers. Well, except for that little part in the very end of the 2nd movie with the marriage proposal and kiss. Didn't something seem a little off about their relationship in "Bionic Showdown"? I know he was trying to propose to her through out the entire movie, but they didn't really appear to be back in a romantic relationship yet. At least, they hadn't showed them being romantic until the very end of the movie after the proposal.

The 1st 2nd movies she wasn't into because as she explained in an interview, she felt like the fans were being cheated out of a Steve and Jaime romance/marriage. She agreed to the 3rd, only if they finally had them get married. I loved the 3rd movie best and she acted more like the old Jaime in that one and they had their great chemistry back that seemed to be lacking in the first second movies. Then again, the one two movies weren't really about them.
