This was always one of the better and fun Troma movies for me. And I always thought it was a minor shlock classic. I expected the rating to be in the fives at least.

Thanks! I was also bummed that we were snubbed by the Academy Awards.

Agreed . One of my favorite films that Troma put out . It's goofy , but there is a creepy undertone in the movie that I can't shake.

I remember hearing about this movie somewhere around 1999-early 00's.

Me too. I'm not sure why so many people dislike this. I had a blast watching this and I never get tired of it.

I agree. I don't see why people take a movie called "Redneck Zombies" so seriously. I should think the title would be enough to tell you what kind of film it will be. It is exactly what you would expect. If people hate it so much then they have no right to watch a film with this title in the first place.
