Horrible scarry creepy movie not for kids

Just saw part of this movie the man that plays the wolf looks like a pervert. He is in man form and follows Red through the woods singing with her, making motions behind her to attack her. The song is about talking to strangers, bad advice for kids because she sees him as her friend. Later he eats her in her grandmother's house. He is laying in the grandmothers bed as a wolf and Red's father comes to the home cuts her out of his stomach in which he has eaten her whole. What a creepy movie.

I recently showed this to my 4yo and she didn't find it scarry, or even scary. It was an interesting twist to the classic tale to have the wolf turn into a man. Yes, he was menacing, and the scene with him in bed was quite strong, but we found that the songs throughout the movie kept the tone light enough.

The song they sing together about talking to strangers gave us a good opportunity to have a discussion following the movie.
