Found it on DVD at Big Lots of all places!

I don't go to Big Lots very often (mostly never), but went with my wife recently and was totally delighted by a massive display of MGM DVDs all for $3. We're talking some pretty good movies and even some special editions. I was pleasantly surprised to come across Real Men because it was a cult favorite for me since I was in my teens. We used to rent this a lot (on VHS!) at two video stores that have since moved on. Yes the DVD is full screen, but I'm happy to have it at all. Belushi and Ritter make a great duo in this.

I just came from there and had to pick this up.

Lucky you for picking it up and buying it because I remember watching this shown a lot on USA Network back in the day. I loved watching this movie when it was on! Yes Belushi and Ritter made a great comedy duo and should have done more movies together I think.

I am glad you found the flick.. always have loved this flick.. was a huge Ritter fan, never got into his final sitcom though.. but I remember loving Jack Tripper.. and.. Hooperman I believe it was? and there were a few others.. always made it a point to see John Ritter where I could (actually it was the real reason I WANTED to see Bad Santa).

But.. seriously.. FULL SCREEN? are you kidding me? I just got done watching this off a copy on my DVD in HI DEF widescreen 1080i that ran off of MGM HD.. they also ran the little seen cultish flick Miracle Beach, in hi def no-less.. yet I don't even think there's a dvd on the horizon at all.. what's the deal here?

Well I have always been a big John Ritter fan myself ever since I first saw him in Three's Company. I even loved the hero movie he did and thought that was hilarious to watch. Now his last TV show that he did I did like watching it but it was a shame that he was doing a episode with his long time friend Henry Winkler who was on ABC as well on Happy Day's when Three's Company was on.

Yes they should have this out on DVD and I do not even know what the heck the deal is. That is cool that you got to see it on MGM HD along with the clutish film Miracle Beach.
